About the Role
Origin helps guides, outfitters, lodges, and outdoor business owners and operators run and grow their businesses. As a Sales Associate, you'll own the full prospecting motion — finding operators in the Fishing, Mountain, and Biking categories, understanding their challenges, and showing them how Origin can create value for their business, their guides, and their customers.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, technology, entrepreneurship, and the outdoor industry. You'll work directly with the CEO, COO, and prospective customers, learn modern sales and AI-powered tools, and accelerate your career far faster than at any larger company.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and generate conversations with outfitters, guides, lodges, and outdoor operators primarily in the Fishing, Mountain, and Biking categories
- Understand how operators make money, acquire customers, and run their operations — then connect their problems to business outcomes
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate Origin's value, using ROI calculations to drive change in buyer behavior
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified meetings
- Develop lasting relationships with business owners and industry leaders
